Welcome to 3 Small Plates Catering, where each dish weaves a story of culinary artistry and passion. I'm Jen Rodriguez, the heart and soul behind our vibrant gatherings, blending rich European flavors with Austin's eclectic energy. My culinary journey began in the warmth of my grandmother's kitchen, a space where my lifelong passion was kindled. After a fulfilling 20-year career at the Department of Defense and academic pursuits in journalism and commercial art at Texas Christian University, I ventured into the world of catering to create not just meals, but experiences that linger in memory.

At 3 Small Plates, we pride ourselves on catering to a diverse clientele, ranging from private events to local markets, and collaborating with fellow culinary artisans. In addition to leading our dynamic team, I curate for Future Front Texas and chair the Austin Les Dames Escoffier Programming Committee, supporting women in our industry. My efforts have been recognized as a "Woman-to-Watch" and "Change Maker" by Austin Women Magazine, and I am honored to be part of the FedEx and Hello Alice Entrepreneur Fund Grant cohort.
